So at Apple’s press conference today, they didn’t release the new intel macbook / ibook after all. They did do it for the mac mini though…but i have no interest in that whatsoever. Apple did release this little peripheral though, the “Apple Hi-Fi”, basically a boombox. It costs $350 ($325 w/ student discount). It’d be nice to have, but it’s still too pricey in my opinion.

The Sony Ericsson k800 / k790 were announced today. They have a 3.2 megapixel camera..which is beastly for a phone. I’m glad I held off on the slvr, because i’m definately picking this up when it comes out (may/june). After selling my cobalt fluxes to Kori, plus the money saved from christmas, plus the money that will be left over after I buy my new laptop, there’ll be more than enough money to get this phone. I just hope it comes sooner rather than later. I’ll be posting again today with news on what Apple announced…cross your fingers for a smal laptop
February is the second best month of the school year, second only to June (Graduation :D). Anyways, I’ve still got a lot of time left to just fuck around. I’m going to the Cavs vs. Pistons game tonight with Vinit. Hopefully we don’t get pwned tonight like we did yesterday. We need Larry…
Tomorrow, Apple is having a press conference to announce some new products. I’m hoping for a new “Macbook” that would be around the same size of the 12″ Powerbook, but widescreen. I got $2300 from selling my powerbook, which should cover all of the costs of the Macbook. There’s rumors of a “iPod Boombox” and tablet mac…and maybe even a video iPod. But all I want is the Macbook.
So how about Facebook finally got some sense knocked into them and let the highschoolers be friends w/ the college kids? I think I’ll be using Facebook a lot more now. If you don’t have a facebook, or choose not to use it cough*mays*cough, how about you guys abandon your myspaces and get on facebook? Face it, you’ll be using it in college anyway (please excuse the pun).

Looks like my seniorities has become a part of my blogging life. It is kinda funny thought that I updated my flickr account during the period I didn’t blog, and it’s usually the opposite. I apologize for that. I’ll try to update both. Well, i’m just going to assume I’ve been posting a lot, so lets not talk about this lack of posting anymore. So I’ve been watching a shitload of TV shows lately. The most prevalent being Grey’s Anatomy and Lost. I still need to get up with Grey’s, since I need Ates to send me the other episodes. But for Lost, I watched a total of 39 episodes in 1 week, meaning i’m officially caught up with the show!
Winter Formal was on Saturday, and it was surprisingly good. Locke House did a really good job putting it together in my opinion. The DJ’s did a good job of incorporating techno into it too. The only thing that put a damper on the night was dinner. I called Carabba’s on Friday night to get a reservation on Saturday, and everything was set. However, once we got there (30 minutes ahead of schedule) we still had to wait one hour to get our table. Since I’m a really passive person, I didn’t say anything. That didn’t stop the people next to us from complaining though. Despite them being Steelers fans, they were really nice people. They basically did all our bitching for us. Then they told us to make sure to get something for free. They were awesome. Anyways, the waiters / managers basically served us hand and foot and gave us free pizzas / desserts.
I don’t have too much time to make an update, since I’ve got a Buffer quiz tomorrow for AP Chem (w/o that fucking equation, I’d be totally lost). Anyways, here’s a good way to start off - 60 Facts about Jack Baeur. Here’s a little sample:

So the Super Bowl…sucked. I can’t believe there are people in the Cleveland area that will actually root for the Steelers because they’re in the same conference as us. Do they not realize the blood rivalry between the Steelers and Browns? Even if the Steelers are doing better than we are right now, that’s no excuse for Clevelanders to root for those dirty Steelers. Deiter from 92.3’s Rover’s Morning Glory actually told the daughter of one of the Steelers players that he wishes her daddy gets paralyzed. Now that’d dedication.
Speaking of the Super Bowl, there were some hilarious commercials this year. There was quite a few good Bud ones, a pretty good Fedex one, a weird Go Daddy one…and a worthless Dove one. Can anyone explain to me how that commercial sneaked into the lineup? Word of advice ABC - It fucking sucked.
I’ll start putting up more blog posts more often, it’s just been kinda hectic lately, you know, with all the work I have to do and all….why am I even studying for this chem quiz?!?!
