So it’s day 3 of summer vacation, and nothings changed. Still playing lots of Top Spin 2 (I’m at the semifinals of Wimbledon) and….buying stuff. I’ve relapsed into my buying addiction since there’s nothing else to do. I’ve been looking around for some good closed headphones that I could use in college so I don’t have to bother Ben (my roommate) when i’m listenin to music or whatever. So what’s the official damage?
So I guess this is happening right now…I was on the neowin forums and found this post about a kid that broadcasted himself doing meth for the first time, and now he’s passed out on the floor after threatening to commit suicide with his dad’s gun.
It’s the first day and I’m already bored…wtf. Anyways, it could be worse, I could be studying for finals like all those freshmen - juniors (and JOC). So what have I done today? Well, I managed to play a lot of Top Spin 2 to the point where the back of my eyes started to hurt…I don’t think that’s a good sign. I might watch X3 again w/ Brett later. At least it’s something to do. Speaking of X3, here’s my mini-review of it.
As a movie-goer, the movie was pretty good. It’s just like any other action flick: lots of violence, lots of special effects, and a pretty hot scene btwn jean grey and wolverine. But…as a comic book reader? Meh. Since when were Juggernaut and Charles Xavier not half brothers, or to a lesser extent, when was Juggernaut a mutant? Charles created the Phoenix Force? whatever. I’m not going to spoil anything else for you, except that the movie’s defining moment was Juggernaut saying, “do you know who I am? I’m the Juggernaut, BITCH!!” When he said that, i think the entire movie theater erupted. You know…if Gambit was in the movie, it probably woulda been 100000x better.
Overall grade: B
By the way, I saw Shyaam and Sammy Ataya last night at Moudy’s graduation party
Slightly dampened by the Senior Prank cleanup, I received my new black macbook on Monday morning. After two days of playing around with it, i think it’s time for a review.
