Everyone has someone that they like to follow up on. I mean, come on, you’re reading my blog. The person I like to follow up on? Joe Gargasz. He does video blogs from his dorm room up at University of Toledo, check them out:

So we arrived yesterday and the weather seems to be…pretty shitty. It’s really cloudy and foggy and it was humid yesterday. Not exactly the blue skies I remember when I visited. Well, they did just get over like a week of thunderstorms, so hopefully it’ll brighten up by move-in day. I spent yesterday shopping with my mom and sister but split off from them when i saw the Apple / Brookstone / Lacoste stores. I never really went back to school shopping, so buying my six Lacoste polos was essential.
So i’m sitting here alone b/c my mom and sister are getting manicures…and I decided not to get one. My roommate Ben was able to move in early today for a fee, that lucky bastard. My stuff won’t be ready til tomorrow anyways for Bed Bath and Beyond, so I guess I’ll have to wait.
So i’ve said my goodbyes and had a goodbye dinner with my family and relatives, and now i’m getting ready to leave. Most of my stuff is packed and a lot of my stuff has already arrived at campus. These past few weeks I’ve been prepping myself to be more independent…doing my own laundry. Then I thought about how lazy I actually am. I was all for doing my own laundry, but my mom was the one that really wanted me to get one of those laundry services. Hah, guess I HAVE to get it, right?
Emory here I come
So I spent today (tuesday) sending off all of my stuff by UPS (basically everything non-clothes). Probably spent around $80 for shipping altogether, not bad. I spent the rest of my day on my last date with Sara before I left for college. We went bowling…where we split it 1-1. I usually suck at bowling..anyways, we made the usual Crocker Park stop and just enjoyed each other’s company for a couple hours. I picked up like 10 pairs of boxers, a new Hollister belt, and the Oakley Hatchet sunglasses.

So it’s surprising how hard it is to say goodbye. I thought leaving for college would be pretty simple since I was so excited to go. But when the time came where I actually had to say goodbye to Sara…it was hard…really hard. I was thinking about passing by Panera’s tomorrow just to swing by and say hi, but having to go through that goodbye again would be even harder.
So anyways, onto facebook. They’ve updated a bunch of stuff, one being the “profile badge” that you see on the sidebar of my blog. It’s linked directly to my Facebook profile, which is pretty sweet. Another addition, the “notes” (pretty much blogs) is cool since I can link it directly to this blog and it automatically updates my notes in facebook. So for all you people too lazy to actually go to my blog, you can see it on my facebook profile.
So tomorrow’s my last day in Amherst, and I’ll probably spend it packing up the clothes for the ATL. I leave thursday morning but don’t get to move in until saturday. God…the anticipation is killing me.
So after waking up with no power AGAIN (Amherst Electricity sucks), I sat there with my gauze and ice packs while reading some comic books i needed to catch up on. After the power came back on, I watched Spiderman 1 and 2, currently watching Miss Teen USA, and maybe watching Aliens later. I’ve moved on from pudding and yogurt to scrambled eggs, but now my jaw is sore…so my sister’s bringing back some Jello tonight. I’ve decided to ditch painkillers since the percocet made me nauseated last night (probably because i took it on an empty stomach). Thank god I didn’t throw up..but now I’m too scared to take it again. I know how it feels to be fat now after being skinny all of my life. When I walk, my cheeks bounce up and down
Here’s some pics of my cheek progress:
