**UPDATE** It’s still on!! False alarm everyone, stay calm
I thought NBC could have taken a hint from the pilot episode of Studio 60 where Judd Hirsch criticizes how his network is demeaning itself and the American people by filling up his SNL-type show with skits that lacked depth and tv shows that are shallow and require no thinking on the viewers part. It appears that yesterday FOXNews.com reported that Studio 60 will be cancelled very soon, only to be replaced by Deal or No Deal or another boring reality / trivia show. Fuck NBC for taking away one of my new favorite TV shows
But I still love you for having Heroes
Turns out PartyCity was sold out of ninja costumes as well as the V costume. Guess I’ll have to be a knight
Saw this in Anthony’s facebook note…so thought i’d pass it along
A teenage girl about 17 had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year.
She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn’t afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away.
As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it.
However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her.
She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God’s protection.
Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walkedright past the man and arrived home safely.

So it’s almost November…the time of Thanksgiving, LRA Alumni Games, Black Friday parties, and what else??? Video Games!!! The PS3 and Nintendo Wii come out on November 17 and 19, respectively. All together, video games are going to set me back around $2000 this holiday season…ridiculous.
Anyways, college hasn’t been really any different lately. There’s been a lack of partying, but only because last weekend was parent weekend. But hey, I got a bunch of free banana republic stuff from my mom, so I’m not complaining. Needless to say, this Halloween weekend will be pretty ridiculous, starting tonight. We went to PartyCity yesterday and I wanted to get either a ninja costume or V from V for Vendetta. Both were sold out..shit. Anyways, I decided to just buy a bunch of Knight stuff and now i’ll be swinging my sword down Frat Row all weekend. At PartyCity, I picked up a pinanta as well for my spanish presentation tomorrow, but Ben and I decided that the pinata is going to be our room’s pet. I named him Larry, only b/c the cashier was wondering why i was buying a pinata and then I immediately told her to call him Larry the pinata…i’m fucking weird.
Saw III this weekend, I can’t wait to see another ridiculously twisted ending. The Saw movies are the only movies recently that have made me drop my jaw at the end (ok…well The Departed did too).
Anyways, go buy the new My Chemical Romance CD, “The Black Parade”. It’s amazing.
Every time I play beer pong from now on, I’ll always know that a 57 year old man can kick my ass in it. Thanks to Harry for showing me this. (just click the area below to play the video)
