…and I’m ready to go. Packing didn’t take that long, especially since I just picked out my clothes and my loving mother put everything together for me. Which reminds me…next semester marks a turning point in my life: I’m finally doing my own laundry. I went through freshman year with one of those laundry service things, but this year I thought I’d take the plunge and do it myself. I know, I’m a spoiled brat. Fuck you.
The 11 hours of driving to Atlanta won’t be so enjoyable tomorrow. But 11 hours is nothing compared to the absolute freedom I’ll have being able to drive my own car at school. Maybe I won’t run into crack-whores at 2am at the grocery store asking to screw me for money now that I can do my grocery shopping at reasonable hours (I used to do it while sober driving for the brothers.)
Btw, new iPod nanos. I’ll let you in on a little secret….they’re really hideous
I’ve got about 33 hours before I leave for Atlanta and I haven’t packed a single thing. I’m royally Fucked (with a capital “F”.) I’m probably going to start writing on the blog soooo much more often now that school’s starting up again. It only makes sense that when I sit around all day doing nothing all summer, and actually have time to do a blog post, I decide I’m too tired to do such a thing. But when I’m pressed for time, studying for a human physiology exam or finishing something up for organic chem lab, it’ll be the perfect time to write a blog post.
In another note, I just bid $62 for 44 pokemon cards. What do I intend to do with the cards if I win? Frame them. Why? Because they belonged to a really funny story that’s making it’s way through the pipelines of the internet. Read it for yourself (the story’s on the description part of the eBay item):
Lot of Pokemon Cards that My Kids Tried to Sneak by Me
Damn…I’ve already been outbid
